I think serial killers live everywhere. They just get a hell of a lot more coverage in the US. It's 24/7 all the time. Hell most of the serial killers you know of don't even crack the top ten in bodycount worldwide.

And factor in that wikipedia is peer edited, and that it's the english speaking site, it's not far fetched to gather why the English speaking countries (US, UK, Australia, Canada) have more on their list than the others.
