I can't beat level 21. I've been trying to build up a better deck of letters in the "boiler" but I'm still stuck.

No. At higher levels you can get higher level letter. Level 9 seems to dish out a good amount of level 1 and a couple level 2 letters. I play it 4 or 5 times in a row and just transmute them up to higher levels.
On level 21 though I keep typing words almost throughout the whole thing barely pausing usually and I just don't do enough damage.
Ugh. I played Clockworks to level 30, then I closed my browser for a while, and when I went back, I had to start from the beginning. Thus, F that.
I haven't had that problem. Its been saving for me.
i don't know how you dumb sons of bitches are playing anything other than pica.
maybe because i already beat all the puzzles. they are pretty remedial for picross

I had this same problem. I got frustrated and didn't play after a few levels.

I liked "Cover Orange" but it needs more levels.
stick-war, if you control the character, you do about 3x the damage. doubt you can beat it without controlling one.
yea, the instructions said you get a health and damage boost.
I'm pretty sure it's impossible to beat the last lvl without controlling a character.
you pretty much have to lead their guys around while you save money and go solo kill their archers and wizards and shit and stall their giants while your archers pwn them.

Yea, the bonus level got my heart going. Using the shield at the right time is BRUTAL.
yea, i cruised through the first 8 or so levels with a shitty slow ship with a shitty special shield and awesome rockets...then in the last few levels, i had to run them like a bajillion times and upgrade the shit out of my defenses to be able to survive some of the more insane shit.

Pretty fun game, but once you get the last explosive it becomes a joke.
Diner City seems fun so far. Hope it's not repetitive.
