Tiger Woods '06 sucks. If you've gotten used to any of the previous installments in the franchise, this game will ruin it for you. 

.... I have a 360... but i dont really play it much... dont know why. guess i am still waiting for a good game other then BF2 

I can't wait to get Forza Watersports. 

I've heard from a good friend of mine who's an industry insider (yeah, I have friends outside of fazed) that you shouldn't buy any of the 2006 sports games for the 360, because a bunch of the companies took shortcuts to get the games ready in time for the release date of the console. Next years games are supposed to be about 100 times better.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'industry insider' but I heard that from the teenage sales guy at the video game store.

I have Oblivion and Tomb Raider Legend. Oblivion is great if you like non-linear RPGs (and wouldn't rather play it on PC). Tomb Raider is okay I guess, it's better than the third one but it's awfully short. My girlfriend finished it in a week. I also played Condemned but I returned it because from what I understand it's also short so I figured I can rent it if I want to keep playing it. It was definitely fun though.

God damn it. TW 06 is one of the only ones I was looking forward to!

What makes it different/worse? 

The spin and power are much MUCH harder to build up. For one thing, it's done with the left shoulder button, so you have to reach across with your right hand to build up power while you try to swing with your left thumb.

The accuracy is crap, as is the power guesstimation. Whereas before you had a decent idea how much distance you would get with X percentage of a certain club, now it's anyone's guess.

Oh, and there's no more Tiger Vision.

My thoughts exactly. I was awesome like liquid sex on '04 and '05, and then they change it all up and now I can't pwn anyone but myself.

I'm hoping that what abalia is talking about has an impact on TW, and that '07 reduces the suck and turns up the excellent. 

Quake 4 sucks balls so far. Hope it gets better. 

I am slowly getting used to TW '06. Putting sucks. The Central Park course is downright rediculous.

I have and really like this game as well. I wish there was a way to bypass the replays faster though. 

Remember the original Destruction Derby and how you could create your own partial replays? That was badass. I'd like to see that sort of thing again, but much more fleshed out.
