Halloween is long gone, but this Star Wars Tauntaun costume deserves to be spoken about, cherished, and hailed as a great Geek creation!
Star Wars fans have always dressed up in robes and adorned face paint to look like Jedi’s and Sith but this wasn’t enough for Scott Holden, for he wanted to go over the top and make himself an action Tauntaun costume.

Would you mind work so much if you worked in a place like this? From an indoor skatepark in Milan to a glass-walled cabin in central England to a cavern 100 feet below the surface of Stockholm, these are the world's most amazing offices.

Julie and I had Courtney Clark from Cake Nouveau of Food Network Challenge (and TLC Ultimate Cake-Off) fame do our wedding cakes including a special cake request from me ...
This is yet another reason why I want to lick frosting off of Courtney Clark.

This is a video of a tradeshow in Germany where a company released flies with advertisements attached to them, much like those planes at the beach.

Nine years of blindness almost drove Sharron "Kay" Thornton to suicide.
In the end, it was one of her teeth and a procedure surgeons said was never before done in the United States that restored her sight.
Now with visuals.

The only way I think I'd be impressed is if the waiters dropped from the ceiling with ropes to refill my water glass or better yet, if I got my meal brought out and never saw a single server, but someone will have to check this out and see if it's more than just gimmick.

This was shot at the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium in Japan.
The main tank called the "Kuroshio Sea" holds 7,500-cubic meters (1,981,290 gallons) of water and features the world's second largest acrylic glass panel, measuring 8.2 meters by 22.5 meters with a thickness of 60 centimeters. Whale sharks and manta rays are kept amongst many other fish species in the main tank.

Billed as "the safest most dangerous taste of physical and mental endurance pain in the world", the Tough Guy Challenge took place yesterday, February 1st, on South Perton Farm, near Wolverhampton, England. Thousands of challengers (men and women) started the endurance race, with hundreds dropping out along the way due to exhaustion or injury - broken bones, dislocations, and over 600 cases of hypothermia. Even the overall winner, James Appleton, was treated briefly for hypothermia. The course takes racers through 21 obstacles - through mud, freezing water, across ropes and burning terrain.
Pic 14, FTW!

In May, a Brit and a Frenchman snuck on to the under-construction Burj Dubai and BASE jumped from it at 650 meters up. Now, there's video available of their infiltration, jump and subsequent escape. The footage from up top and the jump is just incredible stuff. I wish I had the cajones to do something like this.

Ken is a craftsman. An aluminum worker and TIG welder, as well as a great machinist. Years ago, he decided to build a Lamborghini Countach from scratch. Almost every part was hand fabricated by Ken.
There was only one small problem.
